Supplies: Patten of your choice either full quilt or mini quilt (shown below are just a small sample of the quilt styles you can choose from
Ruler: The Quick Curve Ruler or Mini Ruler (The shop carries these)
Fabric: Variable pending on the quilt you decide to make. Note: You can also choose to make a mini quilt using the same techniques as with the regular size ruler.
This class features the Quick Curve Ruler that can be used in making an endless variety of quilt designs filled with curves. In this three week class you will become very competent using the Quick Curve Ruler to learn several different quilt blocks.
Week 1 – Demonstration on how to use the Quick Curve Ruler and practice making blocks. You will then choose which block you like best and pick out the quilt pattern you would like to work on allowing each person can work on a different quilt pattern and receive assistance with quilt construction.
Week 2 – You will cut out you quilt and begin making blocks. (You will need to work at home to finish the quilt within the three weeks.
Week 3 – You will finish making your quilt top.
First Week: Several pieces of scrap fabric. Fat quarter work well, both printed and solid.
Sewing machine, cutting mat and rotary cutter, thread, fabric marking pen, and other basic sewing supplies.
Week Two: Fabric for the quilt you decide to make during week one and sewing machine, cutting mat and rotary cutter, thread, fabric marking pen, and other basic sewing supplies.
Week Three: Same as week two.
